When you walk through the garden, you gotta watch your back......

Ok - so maybe we didn't exactly visit THAT part of Baltimore, but we did manage to squeeze in a mini-trip to Maryland to visit Jon's sister this month now that Blake is able to make it a few hours in the car without vomiting/freaking out.  It was a really great day (weather and company wise) and except for the hour we spent STUCK on I95 on the way home, made for a perfect day trip.  We will be a back in June to celebrate Karen and Dave's upcoming wedding and thinking we'll try to take Blake to the aquarium that time (fingers crossed).  Here's a few pics we grabbed -

Christmas In Hershey

Jon and I had such a good time in Hershey this summer that we decided to plan another trip back and check out the Christmas festivities!  Mimi and Grandpa joined us, but unfortunately my little niece had a bad ear infection so my brother and his family couldn't make it this year and they were missed.  We're hoping to make this an annual trip though so hopefully next year we'll all be able to enjoy the sights together.

Hershey Family Vacation!

Last week Jon, Blake and me experienced our first family vacation.  We had to make some last minute plans and ended up going to Hershey, PA....and it was FANTASTIC.  We stayed at the Hotel Hershey, which I've looked at before but never stayed at.  I am so glad that we finally did though.  There was so much to do right at the hotel and the staff was incredibly friendly.  Blake had a blast smiling at every guest and every staff member and he LOVED running up and down the hallways every day.

I really had no idea there was so much to do in Hershey.  We went to the park, visited the Gardens, went on the Trolley tour, and hung out at the hotel.....but we still only felt like we did less than half of what was available.  We're already talking about planning another long weekend there next year.

Unfortunately, it's back to work today for both of us....so this is the perfect time to share some pictures and have fun remembering this great trip

Mommies Weekend in LBI

Just got back from my first trip to Long Beach Island and I really wish I could have spent more than a night there and stayed for, like the whole summer.  I had such a great time relaxing with my friends Lauri and Allie and their little munchkins Finley and Colin.  Even though Blake wasn't that big of a fan of the sand or ocean, I think that he had a blast chasing the two of them around and pretending that he was a big kid too.  Here's a few pics from our trip...I was hoping to snap a few more, but with the 3 monkeys around it was a little tough to get a free moment.  I have to say though I think that the 3 mommies were total Rock Stars for making this such a great day for all of us!  Can't wait to get a chance to go back.......

I also just have to call out how GORGEOUS the Carbone's beach house is....OMG.  It's my idea of what a perfect vacation house should be.  A big thank you to them for letting us destroy it for a few days....and a HUGE thank you to Lauri for the invite!
